Action Card is excited to announce the hiring of Tim Schuman, who will oversee Action Card sales and customer success management. We asked him a few questions recently. We’re excited to leverage Tim’s experience to both grow Action Card and help our clients maximize the app and their field personnel. 

Hi, I’m Tim Schuman! I was officially welcomed to the Action Card crew this week as the VP of Sales, a.k.a. Client Success Guru… I’ll try to ensure I answer some of the key questions that many of you desire to ask a newbie that was recently christened.

Why did you join Action Card?

Obviously the kegerator! I might add that a game of darts or bags to liven up the day added to the decision… More importantly, I saw a solution that would help transform many lives and help brands become more successful through consistency and more efficient and transparent communication.

 What is your background?

I’m a veteran in the multi-unit operations and marketing scene and have experience across many verticals. I’ve had the pleasure to work with clients such as Northern Tool & Equipment, Corner Bakery Cafe, Famous Dave’s, Performance Bike and AT&T to name a few… My passion is rooted in the fact that the guest experience should be second to none.

 Tell me a bit about yourself?

I was born and raised in Omaha and never found a way to leave this beautiful city… I have an outstanding wife who puts up with me and 4 children who keep us very busy! We do enjoy a camping trip here and there (yes, in a tent). If there is time between sporting/kids events, I might even be able to get away for a game of golf.

How did you fare in your first 3pm dart game?

Fifth place, not bad for the first day and without any adult beverages…

 Is Kevin Harvey really the best developer on the team?

This is yet to be determined but I do remember the time when he thought a gas-powered bicycle would be a great investment.
